Please respect our opening hours!

Animals can ONLY be dropped off and picked up during opening hours and with a prior reservation. On weekdays and Sundays, you must indicate whether you prefer the morning or afternoon drop-off/pick-up time.

You are welcome to visit the pension facility before we take care of your pet. We offer tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please call in advance to book an appointment. To avoid unnecessary stress for the animals, we do not offer tours during high-season periods, i.e. at Easter, in July, during week 7 and week 42, and between Christmas and New Year.

WHAT ARE THE RATES FOR BOARDING A DOG OR CAT AT OUR PENSION?
The price is calculated per day started. This means that both the arrival and departure days are charged, regardless of the time your dog or cat is dropped off or picked up. Prices include VAT. Please note that there is no VAT on kennel rental. See the price list at the bottom of the page.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PENSION CARE 
We provide everything your pets may need during their stay with us, including food, bowls, beds, blankets, toys, and more. Regular veterinary care is provided by Dr. Hans Jørgen Pedersen, Stadion Allé 27, 7100 Vejle.

The pension is heated during the colder months.

SPECIAL DIETS, VACCINATIONS, AND MEDICATION
Both dogs and cats are fed high-quality food. However, if your pet requires a special diet for health reasons, you are welcome to bring it. Any food you bring should be pre-portioned into daily servings.

Vaccination certificate MUST be presented when dropping off your pet at the pension. Dogs and cats must have been vaccinated within the last 2 years with a standard dog or cat vaccine. – If you have any further questions regarding this, please give us a call.

Medication must be clearly labeled with the pet’s name and include clear instructions for dosage.

Information DOGS

The dogs stay in separate “rooms,” each with an attached outdoor run, giving them the opportunity throughout the day to go outside to pee or greet their neighbour. We take the dogs out daily in our fenced green area, which is suitable for them to run and play freely during walks, whether on or off the lead.

Each dog’s room is equipped with everything they may need during their stay with us – a bed, blanket, toys, bowls, etc. However, dogs are welcome to bring their own blanket and/or a toy (brought at the owner’s own risk).

All dogs must wear a solid collar with the legally required ID tag. Please bring a lead for your dog; we kindly ask that you do not bring retractable (flexi) leads.

We do everything possible to prevent fleas. All animals are checked upon arrival. If we find fleas, the dog will be washed and treated with Frontline flea spray. This will be at the owner’s expense.

If your dog requires medication, we can easily handle this. Please bring the medication along with clear instructions regarding the daily dosage.

Should your dog fall ill during their stay, we will contact our veterinarian, and any necessary treatment will be carried out at the owner’s expense.

All dogs must have valid liability insurance. Dogs are cared for at the owner’s expense and risk.

We are happy to accommodate females in heat, but please inform us if you expect your dog to come into heat during her stay.

HEALTH
We MUST see your dog’s vaccination record upon arrival. It is required that dogs are vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, and hepatitis within the last 3 years.

Information CATS

The cats stay in separate “rooms,” but with a view of the other cats in the cattery. All cats remain indoors for the duration of their stay with us.

Each room is equipped with climbing opportunities for the cats.

We use only top-quality cat litter.

The cats are fed both dry and wet food, with some variation so their meals don’t become too repetitive.

We provide beds, hideaways, bedding, and bowls for all cats. However, each cat is welcome to bring a blanket or a toy from home (brought at the owner’s own risk).

We do everything possible to prevent fleas. All animals are checked upon arrival. If we find fleas, the cat will be washed and treated with Frontline flea spray. This will be at the owner’s expense.

HEALTH
Your cat must be vaccinated with core cat vaccines covering: feline panleukopenia, feline herpesvirus, and feline calicivirus, within the past 24 months. We must see documentation upon arrival, so please bring your cat’s veterinary health record.

Should your cat become ill during their stay, we will contact our veterinarian, and any necessary treatment will be carried out at the owner’s expense.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM VEJLE
Take highway 28 towards Billund. Drive straight through Ny Nørup. The first road on the left leads to Randbøldal – do not turn here. About 1.5 km further ahead, turn left towards Randbøl. After turning off the main road, continue straight for 4.5 km. Then turn left onto the gravel road, where you will see our sign “Springbjerglund Dyrepension”.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM EGTVED
Take the main road towards Billund. After Nybjerg Mølle, the first road on the right leads to Bindeballe – do not turn here. About 2 km further ahead, turn right towards Randbøl. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 km, then turn right onto the gravel road where you will see our sign “Springbjerglund Dyrepension”.
